OVERALL PURPOSE OF JOB:
To coordinate the placement of leaners across all centres and programmes.
To coordinate the preparation and develop learners to ensure they are ready to secure work placements with employers and progression opportunities on to internal Traineeship and Apprenticeship employment opportunities inline with the organisation's contract KPI targets.
To match learners to work placements and apprenticeship employment vacancies through the provision of employability support and information, advice and guidance.
To work closely with Employer Development Coordinators and employers to identify the placement and apprenticeship needs of learners and match and to promote Traineeships and paid Apprenticeships accordance with the company's current and future business goals through our client Apprenticeship programme.
To manage work placement, traineeship and apprenticeship employer accounts to achieve income and recruitment targets
Achieve highly stretching work placement, traineeship and apprenticeship income targets
To support the Development Manager in the implementation of the business Employer Engagement and Marketing strategies.
Work with learners to identify vocational areas in which they would like work placements and apprenticeship employment and match them to opportunities generated by the Employer Development Coordinators
Work collaboratively with Employer Development Coordinators and Centre Managers in order to request learner placements and Traineeship and Apprenticeship employment in line with learner requirements
To engage with employers via phone and email to match learners to their vacancies and secure interviews and placement/apprenticeship employement starts
To "cold call' employers via phone and email to generate work placements matching the neds of individual learners
Support learners with all aspects of interview preparation - assisting in the production of CVs, conducting one-to one interview techniques coaching, assisting with research on prospective employers and planning journeys to interviews.
Complete thorough learner and employer requirements analysis to ensure the best possible placement/apprenticeship employment match, conversation and sustainability rates.
To accurately complete placement and apprenticeship sign up paperwork within a timely manner and to notify the finance and centre teams within five working days of the sign up process taking place
Ensure all relevant programme paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner inline with funding guidelines and internal protocols.
Maintain constant communication with Centre Managers to ensure smooth transition from placement development to start with the employer
Maintain strong working knowledge of audit and funding rules, incentives and government policy for apprenticeships and traineeships
To meet targets and KPI's and where possible exceed those targets across assigned programmes.
Develop business pipeline reports to achieve monthly revenue/learner starts targets and prepare weekly pipeline updates and reports
To ensure the CRM client database and all trackers and placement logs are effectively and accurately maintained
To support Employer Development Coordinators in the development of new employer business opportunities and to meet the organisation's income and contractual targets
Effectively communicate the benefits of work placements and traineeships to employers using a variety of marketing, media and business development techniques
To actively generate new and repeat business from new and existing employers.
Use thorough product knowledge to inform employers of the benefits of work placements and traineeships and the recruitment of young people to their business
Ensure employers meet all appropriate health and safety requirements and complete a health and safety risk assessment for each employer.
Ensure to ensure new and existing employers are aware of employee recruitment, traineeship, apprenticeship and work placement services provided by our client and opportunities to place learners in all areas are maximised.

Working to QIP targets alongside quality cycle incorporating Safeguarding, Prevent, Staff Surveys and Staff Training Plan
Working to external targets incorporating - Health and Safety, Matrix, IIP and OfSTED actions.
Undertaking other duties within our client at large as may be reasonably requested.
To treat details of employers and learners as confidential information and to share such information only with those who need to know it.
To ensure compliance of the Data Protection act is followed.
