Associate Manager of Customer Analytics and Insights

The Sage Group is looking for a passionate Associate Manager of Analytics who will play a critical role in transforming our marketing analytics capabilities. At the core of our business is a human-centered approach, and we are seeking a talented individual to tell our stories and enable strategic decision-making through data.

In today's data-driven world, where traditional tools struggle to provide meaningful insights, this position offers the chance to lead cultural change by employing strong quantitative skills and integrating storytelling with measurement and technology. You will serve as a change agent, continually evolving our processes for deploying insights and optimizations within marketing and with agency partners. We welcome candidates with a balanced blend of agency and client-side experience who are enthusiastic about marketing, data, and analytics.

You will collaborate with various cross-functional partners across Marketing (Brand, Insights, and Brand Engagement), Web Development, vendors, and agency partners to enhance our measurement framework, develop integrated reports and dashboards, and further embed Performance Analytics capabilities within our business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and Evolve Brand Engagement Optimization Strategy:
    • Work alongside internal stakeholders to implement integrated marketing measurement that drives continuous improvement towards business objectives.
    • Equip internal marketing teams with the necessary tools and skills to enhance measurement, insights, and optimization.
    • Assist external partners in adopting our measurement ecosystem for improved effectiveness.
  2. Enhance Holistic Insights and Optimization:
    • Deliver comprehensive and human-centered insights to inform marketing strategies across multiple touchpoints.
    • Build strong relationships with stakeholders to facilitate a deep understanding of consumer experiences.
    • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence decision-making for better marketing optimization.
    • Thrive in a dynamic environment that requires balancing strategic and tactical initiatives.
  3. Champion Structured Marketing Testing Approaches:
    • Collaborate with teams to design, implement, and analyze tests while providing actionable recommendations.
    • Use insights to drive business adoption and determine the next iteration of testing.
  4. Foster Innovative Solutions and Technology Adoption:
    • Explore emerging marketing technologies and analytics capabilities to empower agile business decisions.
    • Stay informed on the latest tools, technologies, and processes that can enhance analytics capabilities.
    • Support the long-term vision for data management and architecture to meet the evolving needs of the marketing team.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in analytics, marketing, economics, or a related quantitative field; or 5+ years of relevant experience.
  2. 3+ years of relevant experience combined with a graduate degree preferred.
  3. CPG industry experience is a plus.
  4. Proven expertise in data-driven analysis and technologies that impact media and digital strategies.

  1. Experience with tracking capabilities, KPIs, and measurement technologies like Google Suite, Ad effectiveness tools, MTA, and social monitoring.
  2. Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau) and analytic methodologies using Python, R, or SQL preferred.
  3. Knowledge of statistical analyses and market research methodologies, including multi-touch attribution and marketing mix modeling.
  4. Experience with large-scale data management and governance systems.

Duration: Full Time
