Job Summary and Qualifications
We are looking for a dedicated Clinical Nurse Coordinator RN to oversee and enhance clinical and operational functions within the Emergency Room. In the absence of the Director, you will ensure efficient management of patient care and departmental activities.
In this role, you will:
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care, ensuring seamless unit operations during your shift.
- Collaborate with management to evaluate and direct nursing care according to established policies and procedures.
- Assist in staff education and development, addressing the learning needs of the team.
- Lead patient care conferences and address discharge planning needs.
- Facilitate rounds with physicians and stay informed on patient condition changes.
- Ensure clinical orders are appropriate and executed efficiently.
Job Requirements:
- Active Florida RN license or multistate RN license; compact license holders have 60 days to obtain Florida license.
- BLS-AHA Provider card required within 30 days of starting the position.
- Preferred 2 years of acute care RN experience.
- NIH Stroke Scale certification required within the first 30 days.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, or Registered Nurse Diploma, or Associate Degree.
- ACLS and PALS certification must be obtained within 6 months of employment.
- Neonate Resuscitation certification required within 30 days of starting employment.
