Fire Protection Estimator

I'm looking for an Estimator to join an award-winning fire protection business based in Halifax.

Role Responsibilities:

• Pricing works for the business units and as part of the large bid team
• Liaising with clients to understand the scope
• Site visits and precontract meetings as required
• Liaising with operational staff to understand the costs associated with delivering the project
• Developing pricing models and rate schedules for different environments and sectors
• Providing the operational teams with clear scope and budget parameters to assist with the profitable delivery of contracts
• Negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing
• Liaising with clients to resolve quotation queries
• Developing a menu of prices for an 'automated' response to small work pricing

Experience Required:

• Pricing of passive fire and fire door works desirable but not essential
• Pricing of construction works and construction pricing models
• Microsoft office

Qualifications Required:

• Estimating or equivalent to HND standard

The salary is 40,000 to 55,000 plus an excellent benefits package.
