The Scientific Informatics practice focuses on integrating scientific innovation with cutting-edge technology. Our goal is to guide clients through Digital Laboratory Transformation by utilizing advanced digital technologies to revolutionize scientific and laboratory processes. Our team comprises experts in scientific informatics, business consulting, and industry platforms, offering innovative solutions on a global scale.

By harnessing technologies such as automation, artificial intelligence, IoT, analytics, and cloud computing, we redesign scientific user experiences, thus enabling clients to efficiently capture, manage, and analyze complex scientific data. This improvement leads to enhanced product discovery and manufacturing, while boosting quality, ensuring compliance, and improving operational efficiency.

Your Role

As a key member of our team, you will manage dynamic cross-functional teams to deliver strategy and implementation projects that elevate our clients' digital laboratory operations and scientific intelligence initiatives. Key responsibilities include:

  • Drive digital laboratory transformation initiatives focused on scientific informatics, data management, automation, and AI to create significant client impact.
  • Analyze and redesign laboratory business processes, defining product requirements and user stories.
  • Oversee the entire engagement delivery, ensuring effective solution design, project estimates, and execution.
  • Align program outcomes with defined goals, ensuring value realization for our clients.
  • Proactively manage project risks, issues, and stakeholder communication.
  • Ensure client satisfaction, meeting all contractual commitments and managing delivery quality.
  • Serve as a resolution point for critical delivery or client issues.
  • Collaborate on shaping client visions and strategic roadmaps encompassing people, processes, technology, and data/AI.
  • Provide insights on digital lab solutions, discussing platform options and trade-offs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor to senior management.
  • Drive stakeholder alignment and prioritize needs across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Utilize business acumen to navigate complex client environments effectively.
  • Articulate compelling business cases and value propositions.
  • Support business development efforts by identifying and pursuing opportunities.
  • Develop and apply in-depth knowledge of laboratory operations, industry trends, and digital technologies.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop team members, providing performance feedback.
  • Foster a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Manage engagement risks related to practice performance and company reputation.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% to client locations.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in scientific and laboratory informatics within R&D or QC manufacturing.
  • Bachelor's degree in a Laboratory Science, Life Science, Computer Science, or Engineering fields.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of consulting experience.
  • Experience in life sciences R&D, QC, or IT.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
