Mass Tort Paralegal

Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Mass Tort Paralegal to manage client information and respond to discovery in high-stakes cases. Your role will involve engaging with clients, organizing documentation, and ensuring timely responses. Join our team and make a difference!

Essential Functions:

• Support the management of complex mass tort cases, working with multiple plaintiffs and their information.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate client databases.
• Conduct detailed client intakes to gather necessary information.
• Communicate important updates to clients through various channels including phone, email, and mail.
• Track critical discovery and filing deadlines and keep legal teams informed.
• Collect and organize documents from clients to support discovery responses and claims.
• Request and obtain pertinent records like medical documents, bills, and police reports.
• Summarize and categorize medical records and associated bills effectively.
• Assist attorneys with written discovery requests and responses, including interrogatories and fact sheets.
• Serve final discovery responses and ensure verification from clients.
• File necessary complaints, motions, and pleadings when required.
• Gather lien information and notify all lienholders accordingly.
• Coordinate post-settlement tasks to ensure adherence to internal protocols for closed cases.

Salary Range: $90,000 - $105,000 annually
