Job Summary and Qualifications

We are looking for a compassionate and dependable Registered Nurse to join our dynamic Medical Surgical team. In this role, you will deliver care and treatment to adult patients who are ill, injured, or recovering as part of our patient-centered care model. Your responsibilities will include making clinical assessments and managing treatment autonomously, all while collaborating effectively with a stellar team focused on providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities include:

  • Collecting comprehensive data relevant to the patient's health and situation.
  • Advocating for patients as a key member of the interdisciplinary team.
  • Analyzing assessment data to establish diagnoses or issues.
  • Identifying personalized expected outcomes for each patient.
  • Championing patient safety.
  • Ensuring efficient use of time, supplies, and equipment.
  • Educating patients and their families about medications, procedures, and treatments during their stay.

Requirements:

  • Current Florida RN license or multistate RN license; compact license holders must obtain Florida licensure within 60 days of relocating.
  • BLS certification from an AHA Provider within 30 days of starting.
  • Nursing Diploma or ASN; a BSN is preferred.
  • One year of RN experience in an acute care setting preferred.
  • Certification in NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
