Psychiatry physician employment in California : *RegionalPsychotherapy Director**Reports to:* Director of Psychotherapy*Status: *Full-time, Exempt *70% DirectService / 30% Administrative**Travel Required:* Up 25% of time*Summary*The Regional Psychotherapy Director of is aninstrumental clinical leader and liaison of Mindpath Healths Office of theChief Medical Officer. You will provide consultation, leadership, and oversightfor all clinical and administrative aspects of outpatient psychotherapyservices in the region. You will fosteran environment of open communication and continuous improvement, buildingrelationships with and between clinicians & operational partners thatenable access to care & improve health outcomes across the region. *Responsibilities***Under general supervision of the Director ofPsychotherapy and in alignment with the Office of the Chief Medical Officer,you will drive strategic and tactical efforts to ensure Mindpath Health is thebest place for clinicians to practice and pursue professional growth, and thebest place for our patients to receive the highest quality care. ***ClinicianExperience***Foster aculture of continuous learning, focusing on development & clinicianengagement.Work with Directorof Psychotherapy and Clinician Experience Managers to maintain an environmentof performance and high standards of care.Facilitateregular clinician meetings in conjunction with functional leaders to ensureclinicians are connected and engaged with regional clinical priorities.Develop andimplement regional clinician retention and development plan.Driveretention and engagement in region through monitoring employee and patient NPSsurvey results and forming actionable plans to improve. Collaborate with cross-functional department leaders (ClinicalOperations, Clinician Experience, Operations, Marketing) to address cliniciansneeds.*PracticeManagement ***Provideconsultation on patient care issues, best practice guidelines & standardsof care.Utilize patient facing KPI metrics to measure and trackperformance of clinicians; influence and improve clinical nsult with Operationsleaders to ensure excellent administrative support and workflows for regionalclinicians. Performroutine chart reviews & assist development of clinical best practiceguidelines. Assist withdeveloping, implementing, and monitoring tools for ensuring clinicianaccountability and high performance, including productivity benchmarks,performance measures, and quality measures.Provide clinical operational oversight & communicateinefficiencies to drive improvements. Monitorclinical care for compliance with applicable regulatory and licensingrequirements, local laws and ordinances, and Mindpath Health policies andprocedures. Leadership &StrategyCoach,mentor, and performance manage clinicians on variety of issues, frominterpersonal challenges with clinical and non-clinical colleagues, toappropriate standards of care, to effective practice llaborate withDirector of Psychotherapy, other Regional Psychotherapy Directors, and Leadershipin development and execution of clinical initiatives. Conduct aminimum of 2 hour weekly supervisory sessions with Licensed ProfessionalCounselor Associates and student interns (where such programs are offered).Build strongrelationships and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders in areasrelated to clinical quality, operations, and innovation.Assist Directorsof Psychotherapy and the Office of the CMO in the recruitment, assessment, andselection process for new clinicians.Identifyopportunities for improvement in clinical quality and develop action plans tomake systematic improvements.Assistidentifying sub-specialties with regional clinicians as part of Centers ofExcellence. Represent MindpathHealth at meetings and events of local medical societies, professionalorganizations, and other relevant groups and agencies.*Requirements***Advancedgraduate degree in mental health field with minimum of 5 years post-graduatework experience as a psychotherapist.Current,valid license to practice psychotherapy in which you are practicing and leadingregion. If Licensedin a profession and/or State where supervision must be provided with extendedSupervisor credential, must have board certified supervisor license.Demonstratedknowledge and experience with provision of multiple modalities of treatment inan outpatient psychiatric medical setting.Knowledge of StateMedicaid standards.Current,relevant, and substantial knowledge of areas related to healthcare operations.Demonstratedability to provide leadership to and build the trust of clinicians,administrative support team, and key business stakeholders.Ability tomeet and comply with HIPAA/Confidentiality policies and procedures and abilityto handle highly confidential and sensitive patient information and staffmember information.Demonstratedability to work effectively independently and as part of a team, collaborativesettings.Excellentwritten and verbal communication skills.Ability toestablish a spirit of cooperation and respect.Demonstrated problem-solvingroot-cause analysis; articulate both clinical and business issues.
