Position Summary
As a vital member of our Peri-operative team in a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR), you will work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure our patients receive the highest standard of care. Your responsibilities will include:
- Recognizing and responding to urgent surgical needs.
- Providing comprehensive patient assessments and monitoring during procedures.
- Ensuring the Operating Room is adequately stocked and sterilized.
- Communicating effectively with patients, families, and medical staff.
- Maintaining accurate documentation and charts.
Requirements:
- Active Florida RN license or multistate RN license with plans to obtain Florida license within 60 days.
- BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
- Minimum one year of perioperative experience or completion of a Perioperative Nursing course preferred.
- Preferably, one year of RN experience in an Acute Care setting.
- BSN preferred, with ACLS and PALS certifications required.
- CNOR certification is a plus.
