Job Summary and Qualifications
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse in Orthopedics to deliver high-quality care to patients in a dynamic medical-surgical environment. In this role, you'll be responsible for assessing and managing patient treatments autonomously as part of a collaborative team.
What You'll Do:
- Collect comprehensive health data pertinent to patients' situations.
- Advocate for patients within an interdisciplinary team.
- Analyze assessment data to identify diagnoses or issues.
- Set expected outcomes for individualized patient care plans.
- Act as a champion for patient safety through diligent care practices.
- Ensure effective use of time, supplies, and equipment during care delivery.
- Educate patients about their medications, procedures, and treatments while providing support throughout their hospital stay.
Requirements:
- Active Florida RN license or approved multistate RN license. Compact license holders must obtain a Florida license within 60 days after relocation.
- BLS-AHA Provider certification required within 30 days of hire.
- Nursing diploma or ASN is required; BSN is preferred.
- 1 year of RN experience in an acute care setting is preferred.
- NIH Stroke Scale certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
