Description: The Pediatric Emergency Department provides family-centered care to individuals under the age of 19. Care is delivered for urgent and emergent issues at a Level 1 pediatric trauma and burn center. The unit consists of general care beds, critical care beds, urgent care beds, and a trauma bay shared with the adult emergency department. The staff is trained to function in a fast-paced and challenging environment. Candidates must have 2 years of pediatric emergency department experience. Burn care experience is highly desirable. BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications from a recognized provider are required. TNCC, ATCN, or ABLS certifications are preferred.
