Senior Filing Clerk - Evenings
Based in Sheffield
Salary: £17,000 - £18,000 pro rata + excellent benefits
One of the UK's largest and foremost law firms is currently looking to recruit a highly organised Senior Filing Clerk at their Sheffield office. This is a part-time role, 20 hours per week between the hours of 4pm - 9pm, Monday to Thursday.
You would play an instrumental role in ensuring things run smoothly behind the scenes, helping the firm's solicitors really focus on their clients. Whether you're filing, indexing or archiving you'll be handling important legal documents, so you'll need an excellent eye for detail.
As well as assisting in the provision of an efficient filing service you also would take responsibility for the Evening Filing Clerk team, coordinating work and assessing performance, holding one to ones and reviews, plus supporting the on-boarding of new team members.
The role will suit a reliable and self-motived administrator with practical experience providing an efficient filing and archiving service in previous roles. A background within the Legal sector would be an advantage however is not essential. You must have…
o Experience supervising and providing leadership to administrative staff
o A good knowledge and understanding of filing systems, both numerical and alphabetical
o Ability to work on own initiative, good eye for detail, and methodical approach
o Strong IT skills, good knowledge of MS Office systems
o A good standard of education, including 5 GCSEs / O Levels to Grade C or above
